My First Post for ChicagoParent.com – September Activities for Toddlers

Does anything feel better than achieving a goal you set for yourself? One of my personal goals this year was to start writing for a few different publications—both to grow this blog, and also to practice writing for something other than myself. It’s a good exercise to occasionally limit my usage of exclamation points and smiley faces… otherwise known as writing like an adult. (😃)

Chicago Parent was high on my list because it’s a great resource for fun, local baby and kid stuff, so I was SO excited to hear that they were going to publish my first post submission! (Aaaand she’s back with the exclamation points.)

Now that it’s September and Chicago is delivering on the perfect fall weather front, I have MAJOR fall fever and all of the back to school feelings… though no one around here is going back to school. I did some research and compiled a great list of fun things to do with little ones this month: 6 Activities for Toddlers in September. There is so much fun stuff going on around the city! I can’t WAIT to head to the Chicago Children’s Museum for their “toddler takeover” as often as possible this month—Hudson heaven.

Now on to my next goal: not eating multiple pints of Halo Top every weekend. Send prayers.

Cheers to September and goals, friends!
